Key Issues

We are one of the fastest growing areas in the nation.   The need for jobs and employment opportunities is greater than ever.  I believe in a moderate approach to growth (around 4% to 5% each year).   I am a supporter of small local run businesses (my husband has one).   I would like to see more growth in Hurricane in terms of retail, medical, and restaurants.   This creates jobs for our community, especially our teenagers.   It would be nice for the residents of Hurricane to be able to spend their money in the city of Hurricane, rather than driving to St. George and surrounding areas to obtain these goods and services.
