Key Issues

My background is communication.   I work daily with students to help them become effective communicators and help them learn to advocate for themselves.  Our city definitely needs to improve with community awareness.  Many times, I find out about events the city is having after those events have already happened.   

I have some wonderful and innovative ideas on using text messaging, social media, and personal outreach to help everyone in our community know about current events in our city.   We can use social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, BeReal and others to spread the word.   We can utilize our schools, churches, and other clubs to better advertise.   As a city council member, I will readily share my email and phone numbers so you can communicate your thoughts and ideas with me.  I would like to send out updates and other news on a weekly basis to those who would like that information directly delivered to them.
